Tapenade Recipe

This is a simple dish to prepare. It is delicious and always a big hit at parties.
This is how my father recommends to make this recipe:
"Make this the night before so that the flavors have plenty of time to blend. Just bring it to room
temperature before you serve it. In the winter, try serving it warm"


8oz jar sundried tomatoes
2 large garlic gloves
2/3 c. of kalamata olives
1 tsp. of capers


1. Combine the tomatoes and the garlic in a food processor. Blend until the mixture is
as smooth as possible.
2. Add capers and olives. Pulse the motor a few times until they are incorporated, but some
texture is retained.
3. Serve on thin toast rounds. You may add an optional goat cheese and basil garnish.
