I was born in 1998, on October 22nd; so I am 19 years old. I was born, adopted, and raised in Harford County, Maryland, with my two loving parents. I am an only child. I grew up in a very small town that doesn't even have it's own zipcode. I live next to a lot of farms, though my family doesn't have their own. I thoroughly enjoy being outside, going for hikes, and spending time with my family. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my cousins, who are like my siblings. When I was old enough, I attended a public elementary school in a town near-by, then attended a private middle and high school in Baltimore City. I made a lot of really close friends during all my years of school. I'm still friends with people I went to preschool with. After graduating from high school I chose to attend Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. It's about a two hour drive from home. I chose to major in Media and Communications with a concentration in public relations, with an extention of concentration in photography. My career goal is to work with creative advertising and marketing. I find the prospect of coming up with ideas and helping make them into a piece of art is very exciting.
My hobbies include photography, music, painting and drawing, hiking, among many other things. Everyone in my family has their hands in the fine arts, whether it be playing an instrument, building things, or painting and sketching. So I picked up my love of fine arts from those closest to me. My dad is very much an outdoorsmen. His job, over the years, has constantly required him to be outside getting his hands dirty.I picked up my love of the outdoors from him. We love going on hikes, and finding new places to explore. One of my favorite things to do on my personal time is listen to music. I enjoy "alternative rock", which is a style of rock which is a little bit softer, and can be close to folk music. I've attended Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware, since 2014.
I also love to travel. I am very fortunate to have travelled to three different countries. I went to Iceland and France in 2016 and Italy in 2017. Though all of these countries were very different, I loved them all very much for their own unique qualities. I particularly enjoyed Iceland for its breathtaking views and lack of tourists. I'd love to travel more, but that's not really an option with college expenses. I hope to study abroad in Ireland or Scotland through Arcadia University in the spring of 2019.
