My name is Josiah, I am a freshman Computer Science major at Arcadia University. This class is my longest class, and it makes Monday my longest day. I had hoped to have either have Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes; or Tuesday, Thursday, but two of my major requirements are on MWF and TR. Hopefully next year I can pick my schedule. My MWF classes are CS202, an accompanying lab, Conflict and Inequality in Latin America, and this web design course. I only have Pre-Calculus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My Spring Semester workload probably won't be too crazy, but I think it will be a little more than my Fall Semester workload.
One thing that I'm happy about this semester is that I don't have an English class. This means I don't have any huge papers (as far as I'm aware). I think I'll have some papers in my International Studies course, but it's still going to be less than last year. I also finished my First Year Seminar, which, quite frankly, was a waste of time that gave me hours of frustration. As interesting or easy as a course on revenge might seem, I guarantee you it is not. Finally I am pleased that I only had to buy two books, they were still expensive, but I spent less than last semester.
Outside of school I enjoy activities like reading comics, fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery novels. I write poems and stories, every once in a while I will draw. I also play the bass. In my spare time I'll listen to music and figure out basslines to play and write them down so I don't forget them, but mostly I play video games.
